Dark Confetti

I was alone, quiet, asleep

In an unlit chamber.

Where I had to eat to stay alive.

For whom? Who had loved once?

I chased what I like,

What is handsome made me delight.

Nightmares are beautiful mermaids-

A life of confetti.

Singing her sweet, sour songs

Across the virgin river.

While I stay under my blind bed,

The deaf curtain swayed silently.

Those deadly nightshades sneaked

Through the window,

That kind, alluring air whispering in my ears-

"Allura! Allura, take it! ".

I smell and tasted some nightshade berries,

And then I confiscated into a casket of confetti.
